"Young Lady this is our Grand Champion Hog"

"Young Lady this is our Grand Champion Hog" is what Jentri was told at the Southwest Livestock Show, wow!! I looked over at Shawn and he had tears in his eyes, along with Grandpa Garfield and Uncle Mike Smith.

Friday was the day of the judging at the Southwest Livestock Show and Shawn woke up after dreaming Pablo (Jens pig) was sick. When he and Jentri arrived at the show barn Shawn looked at Pablo and told Mike "Pablo looks really good today". Jentri and Pablo were in the second weight class which they won over 4 other hogs. When the Judge was talking about each pig in the class he said that Jens hog just out classed the others but there were a few things he would change about him if he could. This made Shawn a little nervous going in to the " Drive to the Grand Champion" (which the top hog in each class competes in) because a couple of the other class winners were told that their hogs were about as good as they could be.

The time came for Jen to take Pablo back into the show ring with the other class winners and Shawn was kind of pacing. The Judge walked around looking very close at each hog and the way they moved, how trim they were, felt the hogs to feel how solid they were. After what seemed like an hour the Judge walk straight towards Jentri took his cowboy hat off, shook her hand and said "Young Lady this is our Grand Champion Hog". Our families erupted with cheers.

Jen was only concerned about getting a belt buckle which she would be awarded for having the champion hog. When we arrived at the breakfast Shawn went and got the paper that had the results of the Carcass Contest which is determined using ultrasound and measures the amount of fat free lean meat. When Shawn looked at the results he smiled and told Jentri that she would be getting 2 belt buckles 1 for the champion hog and 1 because Pablo had won the Carcass Contest. When they awarded her with the carcass belt buckle they announced that this was the first time anyone knew of that the Grand Champion hog had also won the Carcass Contest. Thats right Pablo was "Some Pig"

The Sale

Jentri was sobbing before she went in the sale ring, Pablo was such an amazing pig and really had personality. Thanks to Uncle Mike Smith, Brecia, and Grandpa Garfield for all of the help.

Thanks to Grandpa Mike Stubbs for purchasing Pablo. We were shocked to read the thank you note Jen wrote to her Grandpa it said "Grandpa thanks for buying Pablo Im sure he will be some good bacon". This coming from the girl who was sobbing because she had to sell Pablo.

These awards did not come without some hard work.

Jen and her cousins took turns walking the pigs 6 nights a week which payed off Jen: Grand Champion, Cooper: 4th overall, Brecia: 5th overall, Courtnie: 3rd in her class. I would say that is pretty impressive Smith/Garfield hogs had 3 of the top 5 hogs in the whole show.

After all is said and done the 2010 Southwest Livestock Show was a huge success. We would like to thank our families for all the hard work and support they gave to Jentri and Pablo Sandoval to make this a memorable experience.

MARCH we went down to Mesquite and Las Vegas, we took the girls to the Children Museum in Las Vegas, had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and toured the M&M building on the Strip and stayed at my parents house in Mesquite.

April was busy with Soccer practice and games, School Projects, and Easter. Jentri is going to be going to Middle School, it was hard knowing that it was her last year at her South Elementary. On our Easter Break we stayed down in Mesquite. On Friday we took a drive to The Valley of Fire with Natalie, Frank, Whitney, and Weylin. The weather had been so cold in Cedar so it was nice to play in the sun and sand. We also went to Grandma Jolley and Jean Robb's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Beaver Dam.

Elder Braden Davis also left on April 14th for the MTC in Provo, he left on June 14th for Nicaragua Managua Mission, he is such a close cousin to my girls, and we are so proud of him.

May was a busy month with end of school programs, Jentri had an orchestra program to show what they had learned this year, she is doing so good with the violin. She also graduated from 5th grade..... I can't belive that she will be in Middle School next year.

In June Jentri played soccer in Utah Summer Games, she had alot of fun and they took a Bronze. Way to go Forza!!!!

June SUMMER BREAK for the kids (I wish I had the summer off ) The 4th and 5th of June I was able to go to Youth Confrence with the young women and our one young men, we toured SLC Temple grounds, Conference Center, Business Building, watch the Joseph Smith movie and seen some neat museums, we camped at Cherry Hill camp ground, the youth and some leaders had a good time at the water park while Jana, Virginia, and I enjoyed our Coke and a little quite time. ;)

My sweet little Lexie turned 8 years old on Saturday, February 27th, I took five of her friends and went to Evan's Hair School and the girls got manicures then we came back to our house for pizza, cake, and ice cream.

Jentri turned 11 on Wednesday, December 2nd, (am I old enough to have a kids that old? ha,ha) it was a crazy couple of weeks, but I wanted to tell how much I love her and that I am so happy to be her mother, she is a livesaver to me!! She wanted to take a few friends to the movie "Old Dogs", so we went on Friday after school, it was hilarious movie, I would recommend this show!

Here is my grandpa Stubbs obituary, he will be missed so much, but I am glad that he will be doing his yard work in Heaven, I love you grandpa!!!

Bobbie Mickelson Stubbs age 81, was born on Sept. 30, 1928 in Parowan Utah to Alma Fredrick Stubbs and Bessie Sue Mickelson Stubbs. He was welcomed home into the loving arms of Heavenly Father, his parents, brothers and granddaughter. Bob fought a courageous battle with cancer since 1997. He attended Parowan High School and graduated in 1946. Then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. While in the Air Force he married his sweetheart Betty Louise Wilcocks on March 22, 1951 they were married for 58 wonderful years.
Following his Military Service he worked at Columbia Iron Mines, the State Road and retired from Mercury Test Site in Nevada. He loved hard work and was a devoted family man. Bob loved his grandchildren dearly. His fondest memories were going to Strawberry to spend time at their mountain cabin he built with family and enjoying his grandkids and friends at warm springs. Bob was a man of service and dependability after retiring he served on the Parowan City water board for many years. He took pride in placing flags and crosses at the Parowan cemetery for Memorial Day. He was a patriotic man, and a member of the American Legion Post 20, and Sons of Utah Pioneers. Bob was a member of the LDS church. His hobbies and joy in life was working hard in his garden and helping others. In later years he was known in the community for his lawn care service and enjoyed the friendships he gained through it. We will all miss his garden and his great grandkids will miss his trips to the farms to see the new animals.
He is survived by his wife Betty, 2 children Mike (Shanna) Stubbs Cedar City, Dianna (Chuck) Harris Parowan. 8 grandkids and 15 great grandchildren. One sister Sue Bess Kearns, brother Donald (Hanna Rae) Stubbs Kearns, sister in-law Ramona Stubbs Parowan, Clair Alice Stubbs Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill, Joe and Buddy and granddaughter Heidi Stephensen. The family would like to Thank Intermountain Home Care and Hospice.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Nov. 2, 2009 at 11:00 Parowan 1st Ward Church located 80 West Center. Visitations will be held on Sunday Nov. 1, 2009 from 5-7 at Parowan 1st ward and Monday Nov. 2nd 9:30-10:30 Prior to services. Interment will be in the Parowan Cemetery, all under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. In lieu of flowers consider donations to American Legion Post 20 at State Bank of Southern Utah. Donation will go for replacement of crosses and flags at Parowan Cemetery.

We finally made it to Disneyland, it had been 4 1/2 years since we went last, we had a great time, the weather was perfect and they had everything decorated for Halloween. We spent two days at the park. We left Brynn with her grandma's so we were ready to come home and see her.

The 2nd day at Disneyland, we did alot of walking and Lexie was ready for a wheel chair by the end of the day.

Lexie, Minnie and Jentri at Goofy's Kitchen, that was alot of fun, we saw a lot of characters and they would come and do a photo shoot with the girls.

The first day at Disneyland, this was the best day, not alot of crowds, we rode on all the rides at Disneyland that we wanted too without long lines.

California Adventure Land, they had the whole park decorated, it was so much fun.

Last night when I was cleaning the house, Brynn found a new game, ha, ha! I started getting a strong smell of baby powder and walked into Brynn's room and this is what I found..... she is so proud of herself. I am in the process of painting the room so minus the mess. Baby Powder on wood floor is not fun to clean! Needless to say the baby powder is all gone :-)

Before the Aerosmith concert started

Happy Birthday Shawn, Aerosmith concert, Happy 2nd Birthday Brynn, and soccer starting are a just a few of the many things that we have been doing.

Shawn's birthday was on the 18th of July
HaPPy 35th BiRtHDay ShAWN!! Went to Vegas with some friends to see Aerosmith and ZZ Top on the 25 of July, that was quite the experience, seen and smelled a few things that I had never experienced before;) ha, ha...

On August 3rd my baby turned 2, she is so much fun, she makes our family laugh all the time, I love her personality and even her screaming to get what she wants....which she does a lot. Brynn is starting to talk and it has been so fun to listen to her repeat what we say, her favorite word this week is WHY, she is to young to start that word,

On July 7th, Friday night my mom and dad took Jentri and Lexie to the cabin and Shawn, I and Brynn headed up later that night, we spent the night at the cabin it was so fun to spend time there, we have not spend much time up there this summer. On Saturday my grandpa and grandma Stubbs came for a while, it was nice to see them.

My mom and I took my girls up North to see the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and do a little school shopping, I can't believe that summer break will be done in a month. The Temple was so pretty, Jentri and Lexie really enjoyed the Temple, but Brynn just wanted to go where she was not suppose to go. We had quite the adventure finding the Temple, I seen the Jordan River Temple and we ended up there, we seen a nice police man who told us that we could not take the kids into that Temple, ha, ha and gave us some good instructions to find the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, I guess I will admit that I am a blonde:) We did finally get to the temple and enjoyed the tour. We ate dinner at the Mayan Adventure, it was the first time for all of us to eat there, we got to sit at a table on the 2nd level close to the diving cliff's, it was pretty cool, other then Brynn falling over with the chair and getting a bloody nose. After dinner went back to the hotel Jentri and Lexie went swimming for a while, when Shawn and I booked the hotel online all they cared about was the pool. It was just a quick trip but fun to get out of town, thanks mom for helping me with my girls.

A few weeks ago we took the Young Women to the Manti Pageant, I have not been there since I was in young women's. The Manti Temple is so beauitful! WOW!!
We stayed the night in Richfield at a friends backyard, Jana and I were way excited, we took dibs on the trampoline, while the girls sleep in tents, I don't care to sleep on a trampoline ever again, (ouch) the YW pres sleep in a pile of ants so I guess it could be worse. We woke up and went over to our first counselor parents house and had a tasty breakfast made by our bishop and his counselor and then headed home.

I want to wish my mom a HaPpY BiRThdAY! On Thursday afternoon my mom, Amanda and I went up to Salt Lake City. We did some shopping and talking without kids, which is always a bonus. We had a good time, I wanted to let my mom know how much I love her and thanks for all that she does for my family, she is such an amazing person! On Friday we got to visit with my grandma and grandpa Stubbs, my grandpa has been getting some treatments at the Huntsman Cancer Center so they have been staying up there at the University Guest House for several weeks, he will be coming home soon so Amanda, my mom and I went up to visit, we took my grandma up to the Huntsman Center to have lunch and show us around the building, it is a beautiful building and very nice facitity, and they have been great to my grandparents. Grandpa has not been feeling that well so he did not want to go out for lunch, but we did visit with him in the lobby before and after lunch, they have been telling us about these hot cookies that they bring out to the lobby at 4 PM each day, so we also got to have a hot cookie! It was such a fun trip, I can't wait tell grandpa can come and home and get feeling better,

Strawberry Point

Quick trip, two weeks ago, Saturday during a rain storm we decided to go to my families cabin and spend the night, the mountain is so pretty when it is raining, on Sunday we took a ride over to Strawberry Point, I was scared with Brynn, she has no fear, and I am afraid of heights.

I have been the worst to blog latley, we have enjoyed the weather this week, I could spend the whole day staying in the SUN!! I love it! Jentri and Lexie are both done with Soccer, they had fun although most games where very cold and windy. Wednesday when I got home from work the fan from my car would not shut off, I called Shawn at work and he said to run it down to a shop and have them disconnect the fan, little problem Brynn was down for a nap and I had Hayden and Mac on top of three neighboor kids playing at our house, the fan finally stopped but my car was dead as dead, because of the fan running. Jentri and Lexie have been bugging me to get them a glitter ball, so I told them if they cleaned the down stairs then we could, (I love that I can bribe them he,he)then I relized that I did not have a car, Shawn who was still at work ask his mom if we could borrow her car, I was trying to buckle Brynn's car seat in LaRee's car and turned around to see Brynn in the sprinkler, soaking up the water, it was so funny I had to grab the camera, this was her second outfit that she had soaked that day.

Life has been busy, I feel like the last few weeks have been a big blur.... on Friday I got to go to a Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife Banquet, just what any girl would want to do on her birthday right????? it was not so bad, we got a free diner with no kids, so I can't complain, then on Saturday Brynn, my mom and I ran to St George to do a little shopping, and lunch at Olive Garden, then came back in time to go Joseph a Nashville Tribute to the Prophet, with Shawn and Jentri. (thanks Quinn, Amanda and Riley for watching Brynn and Lex) the concert was so neat, if I ever get the chance I would go again, they came down to perform for the youth. Shawn and I went on The Martins Cove Trek this last June with our ward and it was such a humbling experience, the group that performed just came out with a Trek CD, and it reminded me so much of our trip, it gives me chills. Shawns sister Pam was in charge of arranging the concert to come to Cedar, so we got 2nd row seats, my mom was on the first row, he, he. One of the members of the band had lived in Cedar for a while before moving to Nashville, his name is Tim Gates, Pam invited my grandma Jolley and mom to come and watch the concert, my grandma knew Tim before he moved so she thought that it was way cool when he pointed and waved to her during the show. On Monday I took Lexie to her dentist and she had four cavities! I thought that she only had two, she did so good, they gave her some laughing gas and she sat their watching Horton Hears a Who after I ask her if she felt sleepy and she said that it made her HAPPY!! and that she likes that stuff, she makes me laugh!!
Jentri woke up early this morning with a sore throat, I was going to keep her home but told her to try and go to school and if she continued to feel sick then to call me and I would come and get her, well she did not call me until 3:20, school gets out at 3:30, so I went and picked her and Lexie up I could tell that she did not feel well. She took it easy this afternoon and then when I got home from young women's activity tonight Shawn said he wondered if she had Strep, so Jen and I headed to Insta Care at 8:10 P.M. they checked her for Strep and it came back positive, we hurried and got her a prescription to start before it gets passed around. That is just a little of what we have been up to.....but that is probably more then you wanted to know.

February 27th was Lexie's birthday, Friday night she had a friend party, they played some games had pizza, kool aid, played some more games, then had cake and ice cream. Jentri was a big helper this year and helped with some of the games, she even came up with a fun scavenger hunt.

Lexie got a lot of fun things for her birthday, she finally got a Nintendo DS(I gave in) DS case, game for the DS, shoes, cute spring clothes, barbie clothes, a lot of toys and the cutest quilt ever! Lexie gets to share her birthday with Shawn's mom LaRee, so after her party we went down to wish LaRee a Happy Birthday! She is such a great mother-in-law and grandma!!

February is a busy month of birthday's! I wanted to wish all you February people a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!...starting with Krista, Braden, Bud (grandpa Garfield), Rashell, Cooper, Natalie, Brecia (sweet 16!xoxo),MaCabe, LaRee (grandma Garfield), Lexie and Taylor! Last Saturday McCabe had his birthday party down at Washington Community Center, Jentri and Lexie were so excited to go swimming there!! They have a way fun pool for the kids and big slide, this was a great idea for a birthday party!! Thanks for the good time McCabe!!

RELAXING WEEKEND!!

I could get used to a long weekend more often!! We had such a nice relaxing weekend, we were going to head south and go to Mesquite, but I was afraid that it would be raining so we just stayed home and it has been nice and quite. We had a nice Valentines, got to love the heart sugar cookies!! It is time go start the diet!

Brynn is feeling much better...yeah! and now if it would warm up and let Spring come, things would be great.

Lexie's 7th birthday is coming up soon so that is all that she is worried about, I am not that creative with birthday parties, she is wanting to do a "Hawaii" party, so if anyone has some good ideas I could use them.

Jentri loves to change the background on the blog, so this is her latest background, she has fun changing the text colors and coordinating everything, I think she did pretty good....she is such a good kid!

I took Brynn to her Dr. appt, she was supposed to be going for her 18 months check up, but she has not been feeling well the last few days so, instead of making her another appt I thought that I would wait until her appt for her 18 month check up. Well last night was not a good night, she was having a hard time breathing and would not sleep, so this morning I took her to my mom's while I went to work and then I could take her to the Dr at 1:00, but when we got to my moms she threw up a little, so I called the Dr and they said that we could get her in earlier, I ran to work for about an hour while she fell asleep at my moms, so when we got the the Dr.'s Brynn looked awful, she was way wheezy and coughing, her Dr came in and said that she did not sound good, and her o2 Sat was low, they tested her for RSV and it came back positive and both ears are infected, ahh I felt so bad, they gave her a breathing treatment there, and they sent us home with the machine, she has to have the breathing treatment every four hours until she sounds better
Jentri and Lexie never got RSV so I thought that we were being way lucky, until now. I feel like an awful mom, I hate when my kids are sick, it is the worst. I hope she gets feeling better soon!!

Here are some pictures of Disney on Ice - High School Musical, Amanda was so creative and came up with this idea for the shirts, to wear to the show, I think that they turned out way cute, thanks Amanda for being so fun! Jentri was embarrassed so she would not take her jacket off all the way.
It was so nice to get away but we were ready to come home to see Brynn and Shawn. Thanks mom for the fun get away!!!

VEGAS FUN

This weekend my mom, Amanda, Riley, Jentri, Lexie and I went to Mesquite for the weekend, my mom got tickets for Disney On Ice - High School Musical. Shawn stayed home with Brynn, she would not have sat threw the show. Saturday morning we went to Vegas and stopped at Ceasars Palace to eat lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and some shopping at the Gap kid's and Express, and we walked into Tiffany & Co., nothing was purchased, imagine that... They had a show going on while we were eating and so we got to see that also. Jentri and Lexie's favorite part was the toy store FAO Schmartz, it was three levels and about everything a kid could want and more...Lexie, me and Jentri in front of Tiffany and Co.

SnOw DaY!

On New Years we went up to our cabin with the Stubbs' family, it was way fun, I had never gone up there in the winter, but the last few years they have started to plow the roads right up to the cabin. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. Jentri and Cooper were little dare devils and could not get enough. Lexies first time down the hill she spun alot, hit the bank and got alot of snow in her face so she decided that she would rather ride in the Rhino, and Brynn loved to get in the sleds and have someone pull her around. Shad took his snowmobiles and pulled Jentri and Cooper around a little too.

There is a hill that we call Pringle's hill and when we were kid's it was a big thrill to go down it on four wheelers, we had my dad's Rhino and we would take who ever wanted to go down the hill and tubes to the top of the hill and let them slide down. I can't wait to go up again.

Wow! December is almost over, and that also means 2008 is coming to an end, that is a little scary! This year we had a lot of blessings with different family members and feel blessed that everyone is doing well. I feel so lucky to have such great family and friends,and most important for my girls and Shawn! I love you guys!

December was a very busy month, we had alot of fun parties including birthday parties(Jentri, Cody and my dad), family christmas parties, work parties, The Forgotten Carols Play (thanks Pam, it was awesome!) ward party and much more. It didn't seem like we were ever home. This was the first year that Jentri and Lexie woke us up every hour wanting to see what Santa had brought them, it started at

2 AM (very long night)They were happy with what they got and Brynn was not sure but the wrapping paper was fun to play with.
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Jentri turned 10 on December 2, I can not believe that Jentri is 10 years old, where does the time go? All Lexie wants for Christmas is her two front teeth... for the last two days everyone has been trying to pull Lexie's tooth, it has been loose for a good few weeks, tonight my mom came up and she told Lexie that if she let her pull her tooth then she would get her a jump rope, which she has been asking for one for a long time.
So now Lexie is so happy cause her tooth is out and best of all she has a jump rope, we will see how many things get broke in the house now. :) I think that it is pretty cute that she has lost her two front teeth right before Christmas. She is such a funny girl.

Jentri and Lexies pumpkins that they picked out of grandma and grandpa Garfield's garden, they had fun carving their pumkins on Thursday night. Thanks Bud and LaRee!

I woke on up Saturday morning and looked out the window and there were two pumkins squashed in the road.

We had a good halloween. Slash was a true partier, I didn't really think about a costume for me until 10:30 PM Thursday, so I looked in the closet and saw some scrubs, Jentri was a cute little devil, Lexie was a Hershey Kiss and Brynn was a darling ladybug.

Notice that Jentri had her face painted, well that lasted about two minutes and then she could not stand it on, I know who she gets that from, I was the same way when I was a little girl.:)

Red Ribbon Week is this week at their Elementary, Wednesday was crazy hair day, they had some friends over and get there hair sprayed. Don't they look CRAZY! Today they wore PJ's, that their Aunt Pam made for them they are her famous flannel pants, Lexie thought that is was way cool that she did not have to get dressed in the morning for school. Thanks for making the pants Pam!

Sunny Mesquite

On Friday my mom, grandma Jolley me and my girls went down to Mesquite, we stoped at St George and pickup up a few things at Costco and make a quick trip to JCPenny's I was about at my limit with patience so it was quick, we droped grandma J off at her place in Beaver Dam with aunt Ellen, Paige, Reagan, and Brooke. My girls had fun seeing them and playing for a bit.

We had a great time at Mesquite, I took J and L to the req. center while my mom watch Brynn, they have an outdoor pool that J has been wanting to go to, so we went there Saturday morning, but they close the outdoor pool when school year starts, FYI you have to go when it is 110 degrees, they had a good time in the indoor pool, so that was ok. They also had a good time on the bikes and J

was big enough to ride her grandmas beach cruiser bike, she was so brave.

On our way home before we got to the Gorge there was a sign that posted a accident, and the right lane would be closed, well it was something that we would rather have not seen, there was a fatal motorcycle accident, I don't know any details other than what we saw, they were still waiting for the ambulance to get to the accident, the girls were a little scared and then we get a hwy patrolman coming up behind my mom and beeped at her, J was getting ready to cry by that time, all he wanted was to pass her and hurry down the hwy. We stoped at Olive Garden and ate dinner. Thanks mom for a fun weekend! :)

Shawn came home about an hour after we got home, he had no luck hunting Saturday with his friend Travis, he was beat and tired, he has the next few days off so he can go hunting some more.

On Sunday Amanda had the family over for dinner, cake and ice cream, (notice I did not mention Quinn, I guess he is missing over in Greenwich Mnt?;) Riley is 2 years old and such a cutie. Grandpa Stubbs' 80th Birthday

This Saturday my dad and aunt Dianna threw a "surprise" 80th B-day for my grandpa, at my aunt Dianna house, it was a really fun time visiting with the family and letting the kids play. The food was great also, so thanks dad and Dianna.

Iron County Livestock Show 2008

This year Jentri was old enough to show a pig in the Iron County Livestock Show, she named her pig Dot's and became quite attached to her, Dot's was a good pig for her, she was a very mello pig, some of them were kind of mean. Brecia, Tyson, Cooper and Jentri all showed and did a great job, thank you Mike Smith for all your hard work! Jentri placed 2nd in her group, I was very proud of her. Her grandpa Stubbs bought Dot's at the auction, and it has been sent to Ariziona, she was really sad to see her leave, I think that was the hardest part of it all. Way to go Jentri!!

Labor Day Parade

Labor Day Parade was fun, a little chilly, but the girls had a blast getting candy and seeing cousins. We went and did the carnival thing on Saturday night, it was kind of rainy and cold but we had a good time. It was also Shad's birthday that day, I totally forgot and ask Shad and Rashell if they would watch Jentri and Lexie while Shawn, Brynn and I went to the home show's with some of his family, so late that night I was talking to grandma Betty and she said something about Shad's birthday and I felt sick, I am such a space case! I called him late that night and told him Happy Birthday and I was so sorry. So Shad I owe you big time!

Back to School

On August 14th school started back after a nice long summer. Jentri is now in 4th grade and she is liking school for the most part, I think that recess is her most favorite subject (ha, ha) and Lexie is now in 1st grade, she is adjusting, it has been hard for her to get use to the all day thing and eating lunch at school. The first few days were the worst but she is getting alot braver! They both have great teachers and that is always a bonus. I'm hoping to get a few things done around the home in the afternoon with them in school but I think that Brynn will still keep me pretty busy, she likes to have full attention lately. She loves to head for the stairs or the bathroom if you are not keeping a close eye on her, she is a good climber so alot of the time we stay behind her and let her practice climbing the stairs. She has been such a blessing to our family, she kind of has three mom's (her big sisters) that love to help, so she is definitely not laking any attention and she knows that.

Robinson Reunion and Brynn's one year old party

This last weekend we had The Robinson Family reunion up at Strawberry Mountain (Jolley property), we stayed down and the Stubbs cabin (sort of, it is in construction right now so we stayed in my dad's trailer) the cabin is looking good, I think that we will all be glad when it is done, anyways the reunion was alot of fun, the kids had a good time, I hardly ever saw Jentri except when it was time to eat, her and the boys where off taking little adventures and making huts. Lexie is having a little anxiety attacts, I think with school starting soon she did not want to be to far from my side, she had a good time with the cousins also. Brynn learned to crawl the week before we left so she got a little dirty and tasted rocks and dirt, she loves to play in the sand box that her grandpa Stubbs made for the grandgirls (ha,ha, no boys yet).
We played alot of fun games, I took up my moms game "The Human Slingshot" it was fun watching the cousins play, we had a few people hit the ground hard, but that was the worst of it.
So thanks to grandma J and her sister for all the hard work putting the reunion together.
Well on Sunday August 3rd was Brynn's 1 year old Birthday! We had a little party at our house once we got home that night, she loved the cake, and got alot of good stuff. I can not believe that she is one now, time flys by. We are so blessed to have Brynn in our family. We love you Boo Bear!

Fun Weekend

Happy 34th Birthday Shawn! We love you! Thanks for being such a good dad and husband.
On Friday July 18th we went up north, we stayed in Provo at The Cotton Tree motel and let Jentri and Lexie swim, that was all they cared about in a vacation.

On Saturday morning Amanda, Riley, Payton, Nick, Zach, Kate, Mac and Hayden all met us and we headed over to Seven Peaks, we spent the day playing in the water, then that night we went to Chucky Cheese to eat dinner, other then Amanda losing her keys ;) we had a nice dinner and the kids loved the games. We had to stop at Target and get some Aloe Vera because the sunscreen didn't work so well. Ouch!

On Sunday morning we all went to the Zoo, I called my cousin Kimese, so her Husband Zack and their cute girls Reagan and Brooke came also, it was fun to see them, they live in Taylorsville so we don't see them alot.

Shawn somehow talked me into letting us have a family dog for his birthday, she is a Welsh Corgi and her name is Lizzy, she is three years old, so she is not way hyper and is over the puppy stage, so I guess we will keep her. I should know better when he spends alot of time on KSL Classifieds. ;)
